Ray Star is a young adult fantasy fiction author from Essex
with a passion for animal rights, eco-living and strong cups
of tea. She balances her writing with parenting, exploring,
stargazing and teaching #WritingForNature workshops as a
member of the Climate Fiction Writers League.
Ahead of the release of her second novel, Dominion,
she talks to Viva!'s head of investigations, Lex Rigby, about her
vegan journey, shifting from public relations to fiction writing
and climate/animal rights activism.
Following the interview, Faye and Lex discuss the various
paths to veganism and activism, reading and what books they enjoyed
when they were young.
